About Mactown Miracles

Fifteen years ago, the McKinney North Student Council held a food drive to provide complete turkey dinners for families in need during the holidays. Since then, the cause has grown into an annual district-wide effort led by the Student Councils at North, MHS and Boyd. Every year, near the Holidays, we provide holiday meals for families in the McKinney area, and this year we want to embody the #MISDLivesKind Initiative and positively impact the lives of families in need  by increasing our goal from 750 to 1,000 families. We include a turkey, utensils, and sides for an entire family to share together. We fundraise for this event, collect can goods and reach out to local companies in order to meet our goal.

We will be collecting donations at Market Street in McKinney 

November 16th from 9am-5pm

December 7th from 9am-5pm

We will be set up outside the Market and Front entrance.

Purchase a Mactown shirt

We are implementing a new, simple way to support our MacTown Miracles Program this year with a shirt designed by a teacher in our district. The plate on the design has the name of every school in McKinney ISD.  100% of the profits will be put towards the purchase of supplies to feed our families in need.
